So it turns out there was ZERO meaning to the talking fucking animals. Unbelievable.

And the giant mechanical worm(s) as well as the desert of infernals are just...forgotten? Ignored?

The whole spatial rift, Adolla, the Evangelist, etc...show is trying to do too much. And it's doing a poor job of with what it is trying to do. It's all over the place.

This season is crap. Feel like lowering it to a 4/10 and dropping it.

With the Grace of the Woman in Black Shinra finally managed to annihilate a Demon on his own, and in a cool fashion even, all of it happened in less than a second.
Next episode features Joker, YES!
just because I’ve gotten weaker, doesn’t mean that you got stronger, does it?

This whole forest arc felt like filler until the last 20 minutes or so of info dumping in this episode about the (obvious) "Holy Sol Temple is bad and this is why" plot angle. Glad it's getting into the more interesting things story wise after this episode. I started watching this when it originally aired but interest fade out during this arc and watched other thing, just now coming back to see how this season ends up.

Finally this arc is over, it was one of the worst arcs in Fire Force. Generic villains, terrible comedy, painfully slow pacing. At least we have more information but damn, this arc could have been much better presented.
BANZAI NIPPON. Nippon is the Land of freedom. Nippon is the Land of Peace. Nippon is the Land of Justice and Prosperity.

First of all, I knew it, when it was revealed that the woman-in-black willingly used herself as the core of the Tabernacle, the same action was taken with the Amaterasu, but rather in a non-consensual way, that would explain why the first pillar hated humanity so much. I knew it.

The Holy Sol Temple is just as corrupt if not more so than even the White-Clad. While the White-Clad obviously stated their objective to align with that of the Evangelist, the Holy Sol deceived the public as their teachings and actual actions contradicted one another. Honestly, it's genius, a governmental body cannot hope to hide the secrets behind how Amaterasu works forever, but if the government itself created a religion with one of the reasons being to hide the truth about it all, then the secrets can be hidden indefinitely as people are more trusting of religion, especially when that's the religion they've been practising their whole life.

The true mystery is the Evangelist though, she helped humanity develop itself through the manipulation of the image of God and Devils, but now she's trying to eliminate everything. Besides that, if God and devils are concepts that were concocted by the Evangelist herself, What is she? An alien? Or perhaps she's the embodiment of all of the living beings' souls into one?

Right, so let's put all that theorizing and lore revelations aside, Shinra was fucking brutal this ep. If his Shinrabansho permits him to travel back in time slightly, then theoretically he could, what seems to be 1 second to everyone else, is far, far longer for Shinra. Nothing beats defeating an overpowered enemy with an overwhelmingly overpowered move + flashy. Seeing Shinrabansho's scale above the ground was amazing, you can see the extent of damage and capability Shinra has if only he could be granted the Evangelist's grace directly.

Although previous arcs have either been good or mediocre, this arc is honestly the most enjoyable one by far, the combination of joyous fun, comedy, action and lore revelations are on point. Add the classic aspect of the protagonist saying goodbye to their newly made friends at the end of the arc and you got yourself the first proper shonen arc of Fire Force!

Yep that's how battle shounen works, it's only the main character who can take glory in the end. Anyways plenty of things were put forward, let's see if we'll get answer of even one of them.

Wasn't that particle move already in the first season? I kinda remember something like that, pretty dope. If Amaterasu really was tricked into doing that, I can totally understand her hate lol

So basically there is evanglist good (The one we saw in the amaterasu clone) and evanglist bad there is also shinra good (Shinra) and Shinra bad (Sho). That is what i understand up to this point

Major lore drops in this episode, surely we got to know some heavy stuff and I keep getting this feeling that maybe one day Shinra will be conveiced by this evangeliest 'cause it doesn't make sense that she has followers just because she wants to burn everything down, pretty sure those pillars know their destiny which is to be sacrified but are they in it just because they believe it's what humanity deserves? Don't think so. Really exicted for more lore drops! This episode was epic!
