It was sad seeing Akutagawa falling apart like that...
Looking forward to see how they'll wrap it up.

On a lighter note, the Bungou Gourmet was very cute this week!

Japanese classic literature authors may mixed well with detective story like Woodpecker Detective's Office, or action scifi like Bungo Stray Dogs, but it doesn't mixed with Touken Ranbu style like Bungou to Alchemist. I usually like anime with a lot of hot men and boys and can forgive a lot of flaws, but not this one.

Well, the status quo of this show has been this way, and I too find it legibly boring, the substance can't quite mix well somehow. The thing about this series being 13 episodes is really an afterthought (it usually is just 12).

With that said, Ryuunosuke this episode, faces his past, both the Tainted and real author version of him. To question the sanity of writing novels is to decide his fate of an "empty vessel", much less have a split personality to destroy the works he and the other reincarnated authors have created whilst saving the other. What a story plot...

Even after all this while, Dazai still vehemently denies of Ryuunosuke's origins, to which I'd say: goodbye character development. Now it just becomes the fight of good and evil, which is awfully generic.

Not going to have high hopes for the ending of this...

Welp, Taint Akutagawa just murdered all of them. Dazai and the acting director neko are the ones left. Where's the alchemist? What is they doing all this time?

Seems like Taint Akutagawa tried to do the same thing as Saku in episode 5 by trying to change his friend fate by destroying the books. I have to say he did it in a more twisted way compared to Saku as he showed no mercy when slaying his comrades.
