It would probably be the other way around. This one would just be related to parody based events of S2. I would imagine there are people who haven't seen Isekai Quartet since they don't follow the other shows. |

I mean I guess some people like these completely irrelevant to main plot chibi "comedy" short series. Re:Zero just seems not to be able to stop spewing these. |
| Isekai Quartet isn't cannon so no, they are not linked Chibi versions were done for each big Kanokawa isekai and are only here for comedic purposes (whether they have their own story like Overlord's, or are about what happened in the last main series episode like in Re:Zero or Youjo Senki) |
| I think the similarity is cos they're animated by the same studio. Re:ZERO isn't the only anime to get this chibi short treatment. Overlord and Season 1 of Re:ZERO got it too long before Isekai Quartet was a thing. |
| That being said I think this season's Break Time is worth watching since apparently the events in it are canon to the main season and are based around cut content you won't see animated anywhere else. I'm watching them now after the season has ended. |
