I adored this show. The style, characters and amazing use of light and dark hues in all scenes was amazing and the studio did a amazing job conveying mood so darn well. Gotta give it to the studio, they really nailed this one out of the park for sure!

But I have a lingering question that is left up to the audience because a Season 2 is very much out of the question as there was no cliff-hangers and everything was very open and shut at the end.

So food for thought question time:
Because Ginrou bit Michiru and his saliva mixed with her blood (she had a clear open wound), and her blood was what saved everyone and they all have a part of her blood and DNA in them, while also Ginrou being immorta; does that mean....

That all of the beastmen who were given the serum (which wasn't all of them since not all of them transformed) are now also immortal?

If so that's both really cool and really fucking sad because that kid that Nazuna saved (because he didn't transform) will as his parents continue to live on. Nazuna would also be outlived by Michiru as she didn't get the serum herself and we never got a 100% confirmation that she would have the same trait of nullifying the syndrome that led all of the beastmen into blood rage mode. It's implied but never confirmed as she was never bitten by any of the other beastmen and we know this as she's never shown with and injuries or bandages in the aftermath. Plus it wasn't her blood but Michiru that was used for the serum.

So unless off screen all beatmen (regardless if they went berserk or not) got the serum, then a large portion of the cities population will live on as those around them will die off. Leading to a slew of mental health issues (depression, suicides, etc etc).

The implications of this are both good and bad.

Also Purebreds in this shows context is just another word for inbreeding and incest. I guess the Kings and Queens in the past taught them nothing about the massive health problems that come from such acts. lol

Alans loss sure showed how flawed that way of doing things is. Hahaha

They are not immortal. Pretty sure that Alan explained in his 3 head dog form that to become immortal you need to have the blood of 1000 beastmen poured into you, so you are only immortal if you look like Ginrou or Alan with that shiny beast form. I wouldn't worry too much about it though, since the show was super rushed and I don't think they put a lot of thought into this part. Either way, no, not everyone is immortal now.
Furthermore they didn't all receive Michirus blood per se, but instead a vaccine made from her blood. Just cause a bit of saliva from Ginrou was mixed in there doesn't mean that it makes them immortal, it's simply just the effect of Michirus blood turning them back to being normal.

That would explain how they did the science by mixing sample A and sample B to make the cure. A bit sloppy writing tho...
