THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Continuing on the Singapore stretch, Abby has ONCE AGAIN made it clear that her own affairs are strictly hers, and that Edamura is all ears if she wreaks havoc on her PTSD again. She'll be a hard nut to crack, that's for sure.

That aside though, everyone is tip-top on classifying the Prince and cheating him out of his sum of money, tarnishing the reputation and all. With the help of external allies (whose actions have deemed their efforts a fruitless one against the same enemy), it's a do-or-die situation.

In the end, Edamura is tasked to be the "trained" mechanic to thwart the plans of the Prince's brother Clark (since they couldn't confront Prince Sam directly due to his precise intuition), a tit for tat proposition in secret.

Another instance of a trickery that helped etch Laurent's gang sink the money-laundering services into Prince Sam's property. The plot thickens...

The ED this episode is special though, note the Japanese translation kanji around!

I feel like Edamura has gotten better as a con man.

Sam has shown so far that he can be quite shrewd. He might catch wind of their scheme, if he hasn't already.

I am pretty sure Isabelle sold out her husband.

And I assume she will sell out Laurent and co. as well.

I can't trust Isabelle at all

As Edamura (cleaverly) mentionned, her husband was betrayed by someone, and who could it be except her
I just hope Laurent already saw clear through her and just plan to use her for the heist

Bless the fansubs working on this, I can't get enough of this anime.

I'm liking this second arc a lot more than the first one which was also pretty good. I'm interested in learning more about Abby's backstory and seeing how the con and the race will play out.

Another good episode. I really liked that we got to meet Luis and see what he's going through, and that he has a past we have yet to uncover. Sam is a piece of crap, but I'm beginning to think that Clark hasn't been in on all of Sam's evil deeds and he might not be too bad a guy. Though for sure, he's probably aware of what his brother is doing and just lets him do it. So, he IS guilty in that sense.

Poor Edamura still getting tricked. lol But he is indeed getting a lot better at this game.

I really want to see more of Abby's story, and what's going on there.

I dunno why but I feel like Sam's onto them. Thou at the end Laurent and Makoto will proly outsmart him. Also I'm worried about Abby, feel like she might go berserk and ruin the plan to some extent.

Isabelle betrayed her own husband for sure. Who else could it be but her?

I loved it when Sam said he could smell if someone's a bad man/con mam like himself. That was pretty clever of them to make up that backstory.

man i hope sam lives up to him being wicked and being able to sniff out this kind of stuff, would be very interesting. so far they reeled him in, very curious if the team is gonna have to improvise. this show is seriously giving off major baccano vibes.

Isabelle is very suspicious there when they left the room. Poor Edamura though can't catch a break, he getting conned to make his reactions more genuine lmao which is great for his personality. Did they really reel in Sam though or is he playing since he seems like a smart guy. And looks like Abby has an interest with soldiers most likely due to her past, I'm looking forward to know the whole story of her past.

Obviously they're conning these princes, but it doesn't look there are a bunch of background cons going on that we aren't already aware of like in the first ~5 episodes. I'm missing that.

Also, did this handicapped guys wife conspire against him to cause the crash? Something there is fishy.

Wonder what exactly is the deal with Abbie and this war/soldier stuff.

Solid episode that keeps the plot moving at a good pace. We meet Lewis, the guy who tried to rebel against the Brahim princes and had his plane explode when he was going to win at one point, and his wife Isabelle, although she gives me bad vibes that she betrayed Lewis for some reason since I can't really tell who else could.

Sam insulting Cynthia and calling her a cougar was funny not gonna lie, although him previously saying that she has saggy tits when she was going onto him was funnier. Cynthia's all about the art of seduction and deception but Sam's words cut her too deep for any posing lol.

Abigail still reflects on the past relating to the military and what happened to her when she was young, where Lewis gives off big suspicions towards her when Laurent spoke about him being ex-military. Edamura in the beginning of the episode tried to be nice and let Abigail speak out what's been bothering her so much, and try to help her out as a comrade but clearly Abigail still shows trust in no one whatsoever. Going to be interesting to find out more in this front.

Speaking of Edamura, he's been adapting to being a con man even better now given how natural he sounds when posing as the mechanic to help out as a member of Clark's team. With an assist of Shi-won and her crew who convince Edamura's not just an innocent face towards Sam who wanted to decline him, Sam instead accepted him into the team. He even finds out that an underground casino is being run so posed as a Turkish restaurant owner to get down there and figure out what's happening.

Quite a lot is happening for different characters, but hopefully everything ties together well. It's like a spider web seeing them all start on different points on the web but the closer they get to the center, the more they intersect each other until they all reach a center point. My analogy is probably pretty shit but that's all I can think off from the top of my head lol.

Hmm. Let's see what's the deal with Isabella and her prolly sabotaging the race

Without change,we end up becoming the very person we hate.

I was dead until the moment I met you. I was a powerless corpse pretending to be alive. Living without power, without the ability to change my course, was bound to lead me to a slow death.

So far Clark doesn't seem that much of a bad guy compared to his brother Sam who seems quite sceptical and a difficult guy to scam. I really thought Edamame would fail there with how obvious his 'improvement on the plane' trick was until the masked guys turned out to be part of Laurent's gang, seeing this anime makes me wanna doubt everybody of being part of the scam.
