| I hope not, the anime had a good idea. But the execution was annoying to look at. I don't mind more anime with this concept. Just better then this one and no 2nd seasons please. |

| This was my favorite anime of 2020, I've watched it several times and have been hoping for a second season. I get it's not for everyone but I truly loved this anime! |
| I wouldn't dislike a second season, but I'd be curious about how they'd continue on with "more of the same". Having said that, strangely I could see JUST enough of an idea to go on for one more season without overstaying it's welcome imo (which for some may have already happened lol). From the wotas standpoint/plot line because I feel like they covered most of the troubles of what being a wota entails. From an idol standpoint I have to imagine the industry isn't nearly as sanitized as the audience is presented with this source material so they could touch more of a "realistic" tone and ago a bit darker with what happens when the group gets more popular, slander from other idol fans, ect ect. but again still "sanitized" to keep with the overall tone, I felt a lot of the troubles were within the "bubble" of the Cham community, whereas the next step would be new faces in the community both positive/negative, new events, new fame. MC wotas could even have a bit of a real "coming to the rescue" moment for the group/respective idol favorites, since they've been there from pretty much the beginning, since it is an anime after all (Eripiyo kinda had that moment with her tweeting and being in the front row in the final episode) But I could see another pivotal time of "being there" or "pitching in" in a helping outside of supporting as a fan way basically, again, it's an anime after all and they aren't complete randoms. The continued developing relationships would be nice to see but they did a lot from where things were in the beginning to now, I'd still welcome seeing more from the other idols and retreading established relationships, that's just me though. Plus there was a bit of drama from Reo's old group's center could expand on that continually. I really wouldn't mind seeing the group achieve their goal of making it to the Budoukan and more of the ups and downs of getting there. But I think they covered enough that if they left it as is, it was still an alright watch and decent conclusion. I'm also saying all this with very minimal knowledge of what's going on in the manga (I liked how faithful they stayed from what I can remember) So for all I know at this time, there is more material to adapt adequately. I liked this anime more than I thought I was going to initially, nice surprise. Again, wouldn't dislike a second season personally :) |
