So first things first, in the beginning of ep.1 s.1 Ferdinand puts on a magic item to check Main's past. And now my questions:
1. Did he manage to check her past?
2. When do we come back to that if we do?
3. What was his and her reaction on that?
I'd be thankful if someone answered...

Judging from the pace, it will happen at the end of this season.

Wow guys, thank you all for your replies, I really appreciate the effort - I feel like reading the novel now ^^
And by the way, I think the scene was showed in the beggining to just appropriately start the past story in the most interesting way :]

You really should read the novels. There are a ton of details that got cut from the anime or the manga, and those details are great to flesh out the world, which is the best point of Ascendance, in my opinion.

The mind reading headband will probably be the last Ep. Of this season's adaptation as it's a good finishing point. It also where the LN gets darker.



You really need to read the LN - the amount of detail ommited from the adaptation dumps it down so much. I dont normally read much but read through all the LN volumes for season 1 & 2 in a week.
