Sleeping murder arc (ch. 24-28)

What are your opinions on this arc?

I found it a bit lacking, and not up to par with previous chapters. I'm not sure what exactly it was, but this time the story felt a bit rushed and incomplete; it wasn't satisfying, so to say. It felt as if the usually brilliant schemes fell a bit short this time. It was somehow missing that creativity and out of the box-thinking that I've grown to expect from Kyokou Suiri...

Also the ending was way toooo forced and unnatural? I mean the way Kouya acted seemed to only serve the purpose of making it more dramatic, or am I thinking to much?
