Goblin Slayer (light novel)
| ...after the female victims are rescued, would some of them still give birth to goblins? What I've gathered about goblin reproduction from the internet: Goblins are all male, so they abduct and rape women in order to reproduce. They're like parasites, and the women are like an incubator, so the goblins aren't half-human. (They're like the xenomorphs in Alien.) The women are only "pregnant" a few weeks before having a litter of goblins. I don't think the birth kills the women, so they can be "used" more than once. So does that mean Fighter, the girl raped in the first episode, had goblins in her as she was sent to the temple? Is she going to give birth to goblins and the other nuns will just kill them when they're born? I've only seen the first episode, but I haven't seen the answer on the internet anywhere. |

There's got to be some sort of purification spell that aborts evil beings growing inside someone, and the temple would be the best place to get treated. Maybe that's why it's not spoken of: the temple keeps it on a need-to-know basis. Or maybe getting rid of evil parasite babies is included in healing miracles. Man, I bet there was at least one girl somewhere who escaped but was never healed, and gave birth to some goblins later. That's terrifying. The babies that GS killed in the cave may have been born from the other rescued girls. If so, I wonder how they dealt with that knowledge. If I remeber right there are female goblins but they are very rare |
