| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- After reading Lone Wolf and Cub, I simply can't get enough of Koike and Kojima right now. Samurai Executioner is a much shorter story, but it still looks like a good read. Of course, that beautiful artwork is still a plus. So far, it's a good start to this manga. Yamada is ready to inherit the position of executioner from his father, but his father has told his son to kill him so that he would know what it was like to cut a real living human. His son doesn't hold back and cuts him down. That's pretty brutal. Must have been difficult to have to do something like that to your own father. |
