| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This is like straight of a fantasy fairy tale thing with the treasure they're seeking. A castle seems fitting for this type of setting too. Pretty amusing standalone episode considering the elements. Also, there seems to be two more extras coming later in June this year (not sure if they will air TV though) Not bad for the action though. Glad to see Djeeta and the other crew members get their screen time. |

| Pretty average episode, in all honesty. I'm guessing this is catered for the fans of the game so it's no surprise that it wouldn't resonate with me. Some OP Djeeta was nice to have and her crew fairly fun to watch. I should really get the game... |

| This OVA was made for gacha players just like the first season here we have Whale player djeeta rocking the tier 4 job Chrysaor , the fact that there's gonna be a Whale Gran version leads me to think their just gonna keep doing anime only events like this one with a more seasoned powerful player while keeping the normal anime as a basic new player going through the story while it didn't look all that great props for trying to animated 3 highly detailed armored characters it's the same reason Black Knight was mostly CG designs in gbf are detailed af. still nice to see Zeta and Bea and her bullying the hell out of her lol story was alright was made for the OVA so writing was much to write home about |

| i know their resources must be limited and non action animation complicated due to the the armor design, but oebrall pretty bad for an ova and worse than the tv, it is also rushed in direction, the episode can be extended for like 5 minute or something. |

| Lol a fairytale colleague. Lol the dragon wants to eat 100-year-old apples. Lyria seems to have a simple wishes too. Myra a cute horse loli. Jeeta and her friends look so hot and pretty with that armor. Yeah, its a hunt time by entering some unknown ruined. So, the request egg is an airplane that can go anywhere? Sounds like a Zeppelin. But with a stylish one. With a dungeon-style fighting style, I think this little special can build a bit of the initial story and the outline of GranBlue Fantasy became more intrigueing for me to dig in. Interesting game, i believed . A typical dungeon battling with many wonderful background arts and beautiful girl designs. Of course, so many things still remain mystery to me. So thats the value of this special for entering its main story. Interesting episode, with so much nice battle action and very impressive CGI animation, to be honestly. A simple 8/10 for this one. |
