THIS IS A NOVEL ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS VOLUME.
----------------------------------------
For the first two chapters, it actually felt like the calm before the storm. Seeing everyone get anxiety before the the climatic war to come forth with Bell getting the most trouble out of it being stuck in a position she no longer view positively. This doesn't have to happened if only she had retired from the priesthood any sooner but hey, I'm not gonna nitpick about it with this end result of her finally baring her heart out there. It was a very roundabout way of confessing though.

As for the latter half of the volume, I really wasn't expecting a stormy development to unveil. Like seriously, there's so many things to tackle about that. I literally have to read it at a slower rate than my usual pacing. And so, I'll just talk about Chiho since she's at the very center of these events.

Honestly, it always have been bothering me and I can't stand it for how blinding she is, I meant no snide. For a normal person, at least compared to the other casts, she's the one who is nearly a perfect character. Of course, she has worries and there's a limit to what she can do or can't but still, her choices in life and actions correspondingly to it are always somehow the correct answer. Like during in this case, she's just shining again. She's definitely the real hero of this series.

Gonna look forward to the next volume now that the plan is getting accelerated and everything is as clutch as it should be.

And by the way, at this point, I'm already getting used to Maou avoiding that issue, not that I don't care but I think it's probable there's a decent reasoning to it or at least I hope so. One thing I think for sure is that he still can't move on about his past mistakes as the demon king. So it might be one factor that's hindering him. But I also do hope he concludes it soon as well, maybe something like in between of the battles so it has a higher impact.
