They are supposed to be best friends, yet neither Megu nor Mayu talked with each other openly about their crushes.

Megu said before that she has a crush on Haru since she first saw him. Yet she never said anything about it to Mayu in 3 years.

Mayu lied to Megu about not having a crush, although she should have know by that point that she has one. She more or less said so herself when Haru was in front of her house during that rainy day.

And Megu lied to Mayu about being ill.

In the end it turns out that Haru is not interested in either Mayu or Megu. Ouch.
But judging from his reaction when Megu asked him, it looks like he has a crush on someone. I wonder who that will be.
