| Bubalus (Beastman) The bubalus is a type of bovine beastman. They are a physically imposing breed -- few individuals are less than 208 cm. (6’ 10”) tall, and they are renowned for the size and beauty of their horns. Despite their size and strength bubali prefer to settle disputes via nonviolent means and are therefore known for their calm and persuasiveness. They can be good fighters or rangers, but they are often bards or monks. Ability Score Increase. Your Strength and Charisma scores each increase by 1. Big Grrl. You are exceptionally big and strong. You add your proficiency bonus to saving throws to resist forced movement or being knocked prone and to ability checks to escape restraint, and you count as a Large creature for the purpose of grappling and calculating the amount of weight that you can carry, lift, push, or drag. Natural Weaponry. Unarmed attacks with your horns or hooves deal 1d6 + your Strength modifier piercing (horns) or bludgeoning (hooves) damage. | Moon Bride (Celestial) Moon brides are angels with black wings, and they usually have pale skin and/or dark hair. Their impassive demeanors lead many people to assume that they have gloomy dispositions, but in fact they are merely self-controlled. As their kin the sun brides are bastions of courage moon brides are harbingers of fear. This gives them a reputation for being menacing which is undeserved… mostly. As advance troops empowered to attack the enemy’s morale moon brides are frequently bards, though they are also often paladins who swear some of the more fearsome oaths. Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence and Wisdom scores each increase by 1. Darkvision. You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Fearmonger. You have the ability to sense fear, anxiety, and other cracks in a person’s mental armor… and you can exploit them. You add your proficiency bonus to Wisdom (Insight) checks to detect a person’s fears or psychological weaknesses and to Charisma (Intimidation) checks. If you are already proficient in such checks you double your proficiency bonus instead. |

| MGE DnD file has now been updated for the salpinx, and HMG DnD has been updated for the 2024 winners: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Phl4cga3uHXA7YJV-IVw-zRgwzEz42CN However, in light of recent developments in the club, I am seriously considering modifying the whole thing to remove all loli content. At the very least I will likely add a sidebar to that effect. Oh, and I added some notes regarding divine domains, paladin oaths, and warlock patrons as they pertain to MSG in the HMG DnD file. |
