THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER.
----------------------------------------
The one thing that still amazes me about all this is what Maka-sensei said to makoto back in chapter 1 when she confessed. "I'll educate Saigi-kun so that he falls in love with me. And raise you from A normal pupil to a student who loves me and once that result comes about It'll be time for us to part". So basically once she makes our protagonist fall in love with her she's gonna dip. WTF!! In other words she's just playing with his emotions. If i were the protagonist I'd tell her to hit the road and date one of the girls from SID. However, there may have been a deeper meaning to what she said and we can't forget what Kisou-san said to Makoto "Do not betray Fujiki-sensei. she needs you. So protect her".

The question is why does Fujiki-sensei need protection? Is she being stalked? Is she in an arranged marriage that she can't refuse?

Looks like things are about to get even more complicated with their relationship being exposed.

As of right now, the reason is that after being harassed by a male teacher. He was the only person who was able to see past the persona she projects, the version of her the male teacher thought he feel in love with, and see her for who she really is.

Also the fact that he didn't give her any sympathy, which she doesn't like to receive.

There maybe be more to it, but this is what she tells him when she finally answers the question

I would say so. It's not really a question at this point that she genuinely loves him. and as of the last chapter he is definitely developing feelings for her.

I literally found this manga today. I was worried during chapters 2 and 3 that it would devolve into just another sub-par trashy harem manga. but I stuck it out and I'm really glad I did.

The main character isn't dense and asks the obvious questions and doesn't do anything particularly stupid and isn't wishy-washy or indecisive.

Sensei is cute, sexy, and can be bashful, but she is no damsel in distress. She just wants a guy who sees her for who she really is and treats her as an equal.

this one is shaping up to be a good one imo.

I really don't think that will happen. He says to himself in an internal monologue, that even though he's falling for her, he won't tell her that he loves her until he finds out why she said that, because he doesn't want her to leave (or quit her job).

The most obvious thing to do if you ask me. So it seems set up as, there is an actual reason she said why she would leave, and even if he does fall in love with her completely, he won't tell her until he knows why she said that and can stop her from leaving.

Also I can read Japanese, it takes me longer than English but if i don't have a choice well hey lol. I don't know if the light novel has a translation out there.

ah i got confused. i looked at manga dex cuz the manga updates so slow. everything you explained is in the manga so far today. I thought what you were telling me was in the LN.

now to wait another month. This is why i let more chapters pass by X>X

well at least they are on a kiss basis now.
