| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Damn, what a cliffhanger to leave this volume on! I guess the monster with the giant face uses some kind of telepathy to cripple its enemies? I feel like the story is finally starting to pick up after what I thought were 2 pretty slow volumes. The back and forth with Schwartz was a lot more fun than Go clashing with Hayato, and I loved seeing him get flustered and confused over a Japanese girl. I'm still waiting to see the Getter back in action, but now that we have a mech from each country it's starting to feel like Pacific Rim! Not only that, but an enemy team to fight out Allied robots? I'm stoked for the next couple of volumes. |
