| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Okay. Now we have some of the pieces connect. The bracelet was from one of the members (whose occupation is a fashion designer) of Chihaya's former cult under Chairman Fukurai. Fukurai gave him a Holy Stone in return for the bracelet. The bracelet was for "Tsuda-sama" as payment for a protection fee. This Tsuda is likely the same Tsuda who's got a bone to pick with Iwai. LOL What would Makoto say if she heard Chairman Fukurai refer to as a "thuggish schoolgirl"? Ryuji fits the bill as a scary bodyguard. I guess Ren (and Morgana) wasn't intimidating enough to stick in the poor bastard's initial memory. But why would the chairman of a shady cult have the time to steal a bracelet from a high schoolgirl when he could just leave it one of his lackeys --- I mean, manic followers?  Akechi investigates Asakura and Ren seizes the opportunity in spite of how tired he is. We're introduced to Asakura's wife, Tsubasa who looks like evil Mia Wallace complete with a beauty mark next to her lip. We also get to the effects of a change of heart on Asakura. Ren then calls out Tsubasa as the suspect who called Tokito to Ichigaya Fishing Pond. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #1 You'll Never See It Coming moment of Mementos Mission so far: The Punishment Cop outfit makes its appearance as an undercover disguise! O__O Thing is, if Mementos Mission got a drama CD, Jun Fukuyama can legit voice a woman (see Osomatsu-san ep 13, 15). |
