The battle at the end was super cool, but why did incineroar collapse when he evolved? that was lame.
loved it tho. hate how they took this off of netflix

So far there have been 4 episodes watched per day, it was a cool saga to follow.

Might as well add my opinions about the whole series:
While it has its fair share of "filler" episodes, it's all done in such a heartwarming and SoL way that I'm not even mad. I also grew to like all of the secondary characters at the school, which have their personalities greatly developed in comparison to the games where they're not much more than a boss fight.
They adapted a lot of the game's story in their own way, especially the whole deal with Lillie and Lusamine which was very well done.
Alola is probably my favorite region in all of Pokémon, having such a strong personality with its tropical and chill-out theme, so I'm glad I could spend some more time in it while watching this series. The animation style matched this mood perfectly, although it also had its sakuga moments like Ash vs Kukui.
Time to say goodbye, I might watch Journeys after this and who knows, maybe see Ash finally become the Pokémon Master he set out to be all those years ago... If it's still available on some streaming platform, that is.

And so we see Ash leaving the Alola area and it's Pokemon for another adventure!

The Alola setting was fantastic and the characters joining Ash were a lot of fun.

Guzma was an interesting character to counter Kukui's methods, I really like how they wrote him and how he managed to learn a valuable lesson. - Also Galisopod is just a badass Pokemon.
The episode where Mallow managed to get a Shaymin was fantastic but sadly they never really did anything else with it.
Seems like we're going to get a bit more of Lillie's story in "Journeys", was nice seeing her overcome her fear of Pokemon.
Bewear was a great addition to the series, instead of Team Rocket always "blasting off" we now had this Pokemon just kidnapping them every single time lol.

There were a lot of fun episodes but the ones that stood out to me were episode 21, the Stoutland episode ... that was a devastating episode. - The other episode being 108, a lot of emotions there with everyone having to deal with their internal issues. (And seeing Stoutland again ofc)
The other two episodes that stood out to me were episode 112, just all around hilarious episode with Meltan. - And ofcourse episodes 143 and 144 with Ash facing Kukui, just an amazing battle.

Honestly, a very underrated season and I think it's a lot because of it's initial impression, Ash having a very different design and a more simplistic story.
For me Sun & Moon is almost just as good as my favourite Pokemon series (that being XY/Z), it's just that it's very different, this series is just a lot more light hearted and wholesome.

Surprisingly an 8/10 from me, joining XY/Z as my favourite Pokemon seasons for it's consistent entertainment.
