-In ep 3, Ariadoa mentioned that she failed to save a difficulty B world. shortly after, seiya arrives and its almost as if Ariadoa saw a ghost. she clearly recognized him.
-related to above, seiya intuitively knew where ariadoa's place in the divine realm was
-in recent ep 5, Ishtar comments that seiya has grown a lot. again, recognized

speculation:
seiya was the original hero for Ariadoa's B difficulty world.
as ariadoa mentioned, they failed to save it and seiya went back to the real world.
he doesn't remember his first isekai experience. either because memories are erased upon returning, or it has something to do with ariadoa being the goddess of "sealing"
he lost his memories but the feelings of guilt he felt for whatever screwup that led to the failure at ariadoa's world made him become an obsessive perfectionist.

@NakedSnake113

So does Seiya ever fall in love with Ristarte or is it a one-sided crush?

But that is nice to hear.
So shit and ship both are proved by fans this time.
"You are the result of 4 billion years of evolution. Act like it."
"Why don't you eat make up? Then you can be beautiful on the inside too."
"'Sick'? Call me 'twisted'. 'Sick' makes it sound like there's a cure."
"What's messed up isn't my thinking, what's messed up is this god damn world."
"The world isn't perfect, but its out there doing the best it can for us. That's what makes it so damn beautiful."
