| Someone needs to verify this series exists on MAL. Anyway kid Senku doing quantum mechanics at age 10. I know it's not relevant at this point in the story, but I'd love to see some QM down the line in the main series. Comedy was top notch but it's kinda sad that Senku hasn't seen his father since age 10. One thing I really like in this series in seeing the train of thought of the astronauts of why they landed near Japan. Like Shamil I would've picked a more tech centered place. You know to revive humanity and all that. But of course Senku is so special that he must take priority. Is this series canon at all? Will we see that robot (or it's remnants) later on? |

| Some time ago this manga was finally added to the database, so I guess it's time to comment its first chapter I finished reading some time ago. I'm in mood now to return to this manga. :) A fine beginning of a reboot about 6 astronauts who weren't touched by the petrification beam and by that ended up as the last survivors of humanity. I hope it will be a good reboot of this story and won't cause any problems in the existing storyline apart from cosmetic changes and expanding the existing story. I liked how they discussed different destinations of landing, however that talking about "we go to where Senku is" destroyed the mood (however Senku's scientific abilities are incredible indeed). Rei (robot) is cute. I wonder what its job will be like apart from being a good companion. |
