I watched this series as a binge and it was actually easier to understand this by binging. I plan on rewatching this later this week though as the anime left me with many questions. I enjoyed the anime the longer I watched it.

1.)The series seem like its out of order and we're supposed to piece it together in our heads right?

2.)Does Boogiepop Phantom have any connection to this or is that one just an original separate from the story? The only reason I didn't watch it is because the animation/quality was poor and it turned me off.

3.) Boogiepop is a separate entity, not an alter-ego/otherself (black rock shooter tv vibe lol)? Miyashita lugs around a bag and does that have the costume? Cuz I'm guessin that she lugs it around or poofs it on when she's Boogiepop

4.)Boogiepop uses piano strings as weapons or something?

5.) Is it worth reading the manga and light novel? I'm actually currently reading the mangas

6.) Think there will be a season 2?

7.)More like a continuation to 6, I watched the PV after I finished the series. I'm actually surprised how much of it wasn't even in the show.

Also more beautiful animations. What the fk happened lol? Why is the PV different? Is it foreshadowing a 2nd season?

1)A lot of it is out of order especially the first arc so you do have to piece it up together. The time frame for each arc is also non-linear.

2)The original takes place after the first arc. There's no harm in not watching the original unless you want to watch the aftermath of the first arc. I do recommend you watch the first arc then the original before continuing on the Spooky E's arc.

3)Boogiepop is more of an alter-ego instead of an entity. Yes she does bring her bag all the time which has the costume and if you read the light novel it mentioned that Touka always carry a bag everywhere she goes but doesn't realize it.

4)Gold string. Idk what else to explain.

5)Definitely. The light novels are highly recommended to get fully immersed in the universe as a lot of plot points are missing in the anime.

6)No announcements at the moment nor any clue to it's continuation.

7)Probably some last minutes changes. Big studios tend to do that.

It's just my opinion don't kill me

Dang, thanks for clearing up some confusion. I'm reading the light novel and I'm already into it lol
