| There's a good balance of character exposition and plot so far, but it bothers me a bit that Mafuyu not only seems ignorant about music, but about the society, school, work, money. The only explanation is that he's Ziggy Stardust, having come from Mars to save us all with his guitar playing and songs. Oh but he's not the only one who seems a bit dense. Uenoyama's classmates were wondering how those two hang out together... totally ignoring the obvious explanation: they both are bringing a guitar to school. |
| The 2nd episode was fantastic and way way way better than the first episode even though I had a lot of appreciation for the first one itself. I'm LOVING its vibe and how natural the character dynamics feel and the importance given to music and the humour feels so casual. I had to pause so I could laugh when Mafuyu just started randomly strumming the guitar because it's the most natural course of action when anyone learns guitar. Fantastic, gets 10/10 from me. My expectations have rocketed a little bit too much after this |

Me: It’s the gay, bro. ann_sordo said: this is my second time watching this show just because i wanna hear Mafuyu sing "la la la la" it cracks me up every time XD I was honestly laughing how Ueonoyama is like “oh my, what an amazing voice” and he’s just singing in this basic-ass voice all these weird notes. I’m sure it’ll sound better when he sings an actual song, but I was like, wtf is going on. XD |
