Does Lieze not like commoners, or would that not be the case since she's still going for Kazura? Or was she surprised to find out that Kazura is a commoner? Or was she surprised at the fact that a commoner tried to put up an attack against her by gifting Kazura with a gift that one would gift a lover even though Lieze had already done so before her?

Lieze's question about receiving the pendent from a commoner is probably because Kazura said he got it from someone in the village, who are all likely to be commoners. Which then leads her conclusion that Kazura is from a place where commoners are influential (since he has all these expertise, and her father, a noble, is valuing Kazura so much).

And I think separately, Lieze has admitted to us, the readers, that her bracelet was her attempt at marking her territory (her man, her target). So she now knows, she has competition...

So the question now is, will she be the love antagonist, and do something to the village or the (to her) unknown girl from the village that is targeting her prey? We already know she is sick and tired of her meetings with other potential suitors who she doesn't like, the fist clenching noticed by her father, and the menacing vibes emitted at her "mother"...

I put mother in quotes, since we now see that Zirconia said it was her first time - so Lieze can only be her step daughter. She probably got rescued from her attackers, and after marrying her now husband, he probably doesn't get physical with her due to that trauma. She is so devoted to her country, she is willing to go through her trauma if it will mean Kazura will continue his support for them.
