| Just trying to understand the reasoning here. Why did this and Berserk change title and Evangelion is still "Neon Genesis" instead of Shinseiki? In all of these anime official images you can see the kanjis saying "Kenpuu Denki", "Koukaku Kidoutai" and "Shinseiki", followed by the rest of their respective titles. |

| Asinine decision if you ask me unless it is in preparation of a language chance option. The name Ghost in the Shell is even used in Japan. |

| I think they kept Stand Alone Complex because Motoko says it in episode 26. The only thing I don't get is why they didn't kept it in 2nd GIG. Like WTF? Why shorten it to S.A.C.? That kind of looks ugly. The same applies to the sequel 2045. |
