So he was dead both at the end of R2 & 3rd recap.

That's BS: there's absolutely nothing showing that he actually died, while there was plenty of foreshadowing showing he could be saved: Charles got shot in the heart, Marianne became cheese from bullets, Orange lost almost half of his body. Then we have R3 where it is confirmed that he had a (partially working) code, he went kid mode just like CC in R2 and didn't die. Of course this applies both to TV and new recaps, since the recaps retconned TV (basically only Shirley's death) and excluding the Shirley cameo in the credits, R3 has absolutely nothing that contradicts R2.

R2 post credit ending was also altered in the old recaps to be far more ambiguous: CC is no longer shown traveling alone, instead she's just monologuing over the credits several years (decades?) in the future saying that the story is not a tragedy and when she's sad or crying she remembers the Zero Requiem song to cheer up.

Humans are suspicious and jealous creatures. When they see something perfect, they wanna find a flaw.

Wow, this conversation became really big, but to put it simply, Lelouch has a code but not a complete one. HE IS IMMORTAL but his "soul" was lost. And about if there will be an next season/film. I think the subject is open to speculation until the creators of the anime confirm it because at the end of FUKKATSU NO LELOUCH, approximatively 1 min before the end, we saw C.C. and Lelouch alive, watching a pile of corpses and talking.
