DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- "You're wrong if you think that parents will take care of their children forever", says Chiaki, in a condescending manner as if Maron's parents packed and left her just yesterday. I mean, there is no way for him to know about her circumstances, but they were never there for her emotionally. Of course she is going to feel lonely and long for their love. I guess he is in a similar situation and "not caring" is his coping mechanism, but I'm starting to dislike his remarks and nosiness a bit. I'm also sure that Miyako can balance her dreams of being a detective while having a family too. It might not be easy, but she has the right mindset by not giving up without even trying. |

The family detective imagery was way funnier than it needed to be.  Every time this anime mentions the divorce of Maron's parents, it really does hit hard. Glad we got a happy end this episode. |
