| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Okay, I'm really liking this! Miyako is a bit annoying, but it's kind of funny how Maron's best friend is also trying her best to catch her alter ego, and also has her eyes on her potential love interest. I don't know how to feel about Chiaki yet, he is clearly making Maron uncomfortable, but I'm sure that their interactions are going to get better. He also has the same kind of power, and he is an ally since he prevented her from getting caught on that last trap. Maron also saw herself in that little girl, it seems that she had a dysfunctional family, I guess we might still hear more about it and why she lives by herself, waiting for a letter or something. |

| Phew... right into abuse. Jesus, some parts here were just hard to watch, but it was necessary to show it. Onto the usual. No glaring animation errors, outside of some really ugly character scaling when Miyako runs in to the scene, which is more just them forgetting to redraw an asset to use instead of that placeholder animation. Otherwise, I really liked this episode a ton, and I can tell that Toei actually put their all into making this as good as possible.  This is looking to be a baller AF magical girl anime. |
