| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- When I first started City Hunter I stayed because of the cases, they were interesting enough, and I liked to see them solved, but now I find myself staying for the characters and their interactions. I mean, it can get pretty boring, and repetitive when it's only Ryou acting like a perverted maniac, and Kaori hammering him, but episodes like this one with the other main characters (or the ones with just one of them), Saeko and Umibozu, are my favorites now. I didn't really care about the case this time, it felt serious on paper, but it felt so distant, that if the four of them didn't get together it would've been really boring. |
