For what I can only presume is another girl you like, Rin from little busters, I'd say I like her a lot too, second only to Kud. I can see lots of good qualities in Rin, she's helpful, supportive, yes she's a tsundere but not selfish or nasty. I can't find any significant good qualities in Mei, and this is basing on the anime alone of course.

I judge characters based on how much they have done for others, working hard for oneself does not make one a good person.

Such as, when Mei got a confession from Sara, she just decided to date her without thinking about whether she liked her back. Then she mentions it to Yuzu as if she was talking about the weather and walks away without waiting for a response. She was definitely irritating in those moments.
