You were ordered to get on the ground and wait. Knemalda ordered silence. "This room was built to hold the most valuable asset the Index Foundation has. As such, no known power could destroy this building. Even a planet destroying event would spare us in here. You will be safe. However, the guards are armed with Neurotoxins that will Paralyze you instantly. Do not make any sudden moves or stand up until I authorize it." He places his fingers into a spot on the wall and goes quiet. A wall begins rising in front of what you could only assume to be the Index itself. Closing it off. A message seemed to echo inside the room when it closed up. Blast Doors Sealed. Lock Down in progress. Activating Transition-Metal excitation field. Knemalda removed his hand from the wall and then informed everyone they are free to stand up and move. |

I simply stayed sitting down, sighing. Thoughts then began to run through my head as to why I started to cough up blood. It had to be related to the songs I had heard in the forest. There was no way it wasn't related with the blood sky. "I highly doubt the cameras would show anything other than what we were experiencing previously," I informed Akira, putting my handkerchief away. I did want to look into my own blood to see if the blood was affected by the temporary environment. "Knemalda, any idea as to what is happening?" I asked, looking over at him. |

| Even after cleaning your mouth, you could still feel blood pooling in your mouth. Taste it perfectly. There blood all over everyone. It was getting ridiculous. It wouldnt take much longer, but even your hands were covered in blood. However, Knemalda and other automaton seemed immune. Humidity rising. Activating Air Filter. You could hear fans kick on and the room got cooler and dryer. But you were still covered in blood. Knemalda seemed to be observing something. He seemed to realize something. There is absolutely nothing wrong with anyone here. The sun didnt turn red. its being filtered. Servitor, make sure to task all satellites and automated centers to monitor global energy levels. I want everything we have gathering statistical data. Every single kind of data we can. Put emphasis on the Stratosphere and the Magnetosphere. He spoke into a screen. And then went back to strategizing and thinking. Lyn asked him his thoughts and he nodded. Well, i dont think the sun is being altered. There is something below High orbit that is filtering incoming light and radiation. Changing it. Thats my theory. I tasked one of our Satellites to look at the sun to confirm this. The event is certainly supernatural. After all, blood is too complicated of a compound to form in rainclouds. However, the blood does appear to lack DNA or other organic compounds. Even the blood coming from most people. I dont have enough data yet. So Ive tasked everything to gather every last bit of data we can. |

Now, why? could they need blood to call forth something? open something? black magic? Deamon?..no... a portal to another world?... no, they would need to have sacerfices for that right? ya mast said something about that befor..blood and lives.. what would need this much blood? " But most of it is not real blood..would it work still? or was it to make it easier for them to give blood? Spit is easier to give up and not die then blood but why make it over the city?.... changing atmostpher..new environment? The "blood" is need for them to stay her and alive? It isn't very accurate data though and the rest of the data we could collect is outside this very room. All we'll have to do is wait and go off the data we have now. Still, those questions are needed to be answered if we are to find what we need to solve this little catastrophe we are currently going through." I said. "I can't say though whether this is related to the events that happened in the forests. We did not hear any song, yet this area was affected. This may be an external problem. It could just be mother nature taking its course on the world. After all, this world was filled with shadows before the fall of Eru. This may just be something our world is going through as a result of past events. Regardless, we can't say for sure its related to the songs in the forests. We'll have to investigate both the events to see correlations" I suggested. I did find it weird that this had happened directly after the song had caused tremors across the forests. The possibilities are endless as to what might be happening to the sun. One thing for sure, the sun is directly causing this, but what could be filtering the sun to cause such an event across this area. We may not even know if only this area is being affected. All we know for now is that this area is directly being affected. If it is just the Index Foundation, some sort of magic has encircled the area, filtering the sun's radiation to be extremely harmful to us. |

| Im afraid it would take a God to produce Alchemy on this magnitude. And this doesnt feel like Death's handiwork. Ive asked the Servitor to activate its automatic labs to study this event. Its still collecting Data. Ive spoken to Death once. it was after I managed to create Void Generators. He said that because the Karmic Cycle was broken by the Darkness, It was too risky to create technology that damages the universe anymore than it already is. At least for the next fifteen generations. Maybe its the result of this Cycle being so badly damaged. Its entirely possible we are looking at a perfectly natural event. He was reading data that he was presumably getting from a lab somewhere. Servitor, please confirm these findings through two alternative methods. He seemed very intrigued by these findings. |

I simply wait for Knemalda's answer to Akira's question. On the other hand, I start to try to hypothesize what might be the cause of this event. With mother nature out of the question, it'd have to be a creature or a person who seems to want to cause a genocide. Even then, it is mysterious since it couldn't be toxic fumes. It was weird though since Knemalda wasn't affected, but me and Akira were. Could it be targeting weaker entities such as myself? I won't know until we figure this out |

It could just be magic and if it is the case, breathing it in won't matter. We'll just be affected and we won't be able to do much against it. I suggest we stay here until the environment is safe" I didn't want to have to go out there in risk of my life to a plague. In a way, I wanted to help, but seeing as how I'll start losing a lot of blood from just breathing in, me and Akira might not even survive the operation. From what I see it, I would rather stay safe rather than go out there. After all, this air locked area might just be infused with magic in order to keep ourselves safe |

However, in this kind of world, I have to prioritize my survival over my morals. However, there is the risk over reward that can change my mind. Since Knemalda is the boss of the Foundation, there could be a possible reward. "Since I'm no part of your organization, I'm technically a mercenary you are asking for help. I come with a price you will have to propose. I'll decide if the risk is worth the reward" I say as I look at Knemalda, crossing my arms to tell him I was serious about this. I would rather stay or go elsewhere to be safe and keep my health. However, if he is willing to reward me for some work, I'd be willing to help. |

As for Lyn, Knemalda answered to her without diverting his eyes from the screen before him. "Simple, you are to escort the group of people I mentioned before, as well as Marcus Jarr and Garret Aoki, two more scientists. You'll go to the Cathedral, and meet up with them all, as well as backup from the IAHD. Then you head for the fort. That is all. A ship is already waiting for you outside." With that said, once you were to leave the room, and navigate through some hallways and stairs, the group would indeed see a ship. It's engines were already on, and its entrance was open. All was left would be to walk under the rain a couple of meters, and enter said ship. On the inside, it was quite spacious, with two long benches with a capacity of at least 15 people each. The pilot would close the entrance and talk to the group through a speaker "Buckle up. We're on a rush, so the trip is gonna be rough" After giving the warning, the ship would take off at a great speed shaking as it adjusted itself to head for their first stop. Then blasting off towards the Cathedral. |

I would hope we won't be in too much trouble with the air or we'd be doomed to blood loss if that were the case. Still, I decided to go along with the mission since this might improve my relationship with the foundation. If not, who am I to blame always asking for a price. In the end, I left the area following Akira to escort the V.I.P.s |
