So, this is getting an anime adaptation and after reading the summary for the stor all I was thinking was was as obvious as this series is; "Another one of those". But alone from the plot it just felt like every other Isekai ever again. Why are they making this to begin with? Are the japanese really that nuts for anime that they always need the same shit again, but in another package? Because as I see it today, most westerners get fed up with all the slight variations of the same story, according to the ratings. And all I can make out so far for this anime are some light surgical changes, so everyone who has seen three shows of Isekai (or at least the three seasons of Overhypelord) can already make out the story arc. Or did the other manga's had more to offer and the anime's just turned out to be the same, because most movies and TV-series tend to do the same for the sake of not challenging the minds of the vierwers too much? |

I would rather say it's more the same setting of Isekai Maou than from Overlord. Wait and see if it's the same but as an isekai fan, I'm not fed up and I dont' consider watching the same 'shit' each time. Some insist with comedy relief like konosuba, some other with overpower like Overlord, and some other with ecchi like Isekai Maou. Well Smartphone and Death March kara tried the 'loli' theme but it was sort of a failure... I am more intereted in how this new one will distinguish from 'Isekai Maou'. |

OP is the same guy on other isekai threads complaining about them getting anime adaptations. If you're going to complain about them all, just don't watch them. IDK why everyone likes to shit on isekai series like most other series aren't carbon copies of 90's shows. From reading the manga, it seems like it will be fairly different besides the Demon Lord part. That's extremely opinionated and bias. You're judging a whole genre off of the limited amount of shows that there are. Besides, isekai shows technically aren't even new since they were making other world anime and manga decades ago. Mediocre results can happen with any genre if a studio treats it as an easy cash grab. However, I have to say that Maou-sama, Retry! is hot trash. It would have been great had they followed the art style and atmosphere from the manga, but the animation, voice acting, and soundtrack are horrible. However, once again this comes back to the studio. Your statement about them being for horny teenagers and mediocre adults can be about most Shounen and Seinen anime. You didn't make a point whatsoever. You come off as bitter. |

You are at least 4 seasons in SAO and you still think the isekai genre is rubbish? Also, nearly all your ratings are 10. Do you think they were so good that there could be no improvements?
