| THIS IS A NOVEL ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS VOLUME. ---------------------------------------- I just read an exotic adventure. I can't grasp most of its humour especially the dark ones. But I guess, I did enjoyed this fantasy esque settings. . And above all, I like Elaina's attitude and outlook for adventures. Granted that she doesn't have that much curiosity as I was expecting, but being able to see a different lot in a short time is a good a good experience too.. I'm, looking forward to more weird stuff. |

| This is so cool !! Usually i don't do read a novels, and gettig bored fast if i do... but this is really an exception. This first volume is really good impressing tho, i got addicted to read without a break. i'm looking forward for the sequel Loved it! |
| I’m loving this Light Novel series. After I finish up to Volume 3 I plan on watching the anime adaptation that started airing last week. I’m glad I started reading it back in February. |
| Didn't enjoy this LN. I was getting bored partway into chapter 1, so I switched to the anime to see how that was. I loved the anime, so I decided to go back to the LN, and just couldn't force myself past chapter 6. It's just boring, and the main character is basically sitting on the sidelines. No growth, no progression, no reason to care. And the stories are like 3-5 pages long. The anime has an actual backstory of how she became a witch and is just so much more fun (well except episode 3, which is actually the one closest to the LN, how about that!). And the anime crew fleshed things out and added some fanservice, good job! I've read and enjoyed many LN's, but had to drop this one. |
| Good read.. very good read... I've read Kino no Tabi but this one is almost different from Kino no Tabi but at the same time still maintain thoroughly scenes vividly and good narratives. There was a ch about the reverse view on what beauty is and kinda made me remember that erotic JP WN I read before... I gotta read that again I guess... I dunno what I stalled for that even... but it's just the way how the Queen just attempted to one-sidedly push for her own belief is kinda amazing at the same time frightening. The tale of the the Slave... I kinda forgot her name... Uhh Nino? It was quite... how do I put it... outlandish in a way how it was set-up, but well; I guess the open-ending is prolly the more outlandish part of it? I feel like, despite it being a open ending, I think we can all agree that it's such a heavy tone and setting in a bizarre lighthearted approach, it went from 0 to 100 real fucking quick. Imagine being crushed by the reality of the happiness that this dude who liked you (honestly a bit controlling tho) did that.. Then again, I had this vague feeling that.... The dude did this on purpose... I think ohh well either way... The dude who literally became caliber STRONK because he's sister was abducted was kinda funny... I thought it was like "later on he'd find her like dead or something" but I guess the turn was kinda different... it was alright I guess. I dunno how many boyfriends she has but good to her. Mirarose's revenge story is quite.... well... I honestly dont know how she'd relish her revenge but hey... that's prolly not by murdering ppl right? Right? I hope not. I feel bad for the kid tho... I mean her father was a purist so ehhh, either way... Her seeing Fran-sensei was quite a good I would say like an epilogue-ish ch., |
