| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not the best episode I've seen from this show but it's a solid start for the Dolphins vs Touto Boys matchup. I love how Michiru motivated Komatsu with a lil' flirting. She was really cute there. Poor Hikaru, having to deal with scratched glasses and pitch at the same time. Glad Nagai helped him out after a bit, and put the team ahead of himself. Baseball is a team game after all. I'm excited for that next episode. Want to see more of these two teams collide :) |

| Decent start to the match. I didn't really care for the glasses problem at the beginning but good for Nagai stepping up and giving his. The other team's coach sleeping the whole time is frustrating to watch. I hope next episode they get some good momentum going to wake his old ass up. I'm interested to see what additional tricks Hikaru has up his sleeve. I doubt it's a breaking ball most likely more changes with his positioning. Looking forward to the next ep. |

She is more shy type than tsundere kaoru |
| not that i have any problem with that, but 'till now every team have some kind of "secret weapon", it feels to me like they are making kids with too tricks on their sleeves, i'm not sure if kids in reality have that... tatou too much underestimate the dolphins. and where we saw that scene with the glasses again? S3? anyway it was good that hikaru didn't changed position, but why they don't learn to bring replacement glasses?? the scene with michiru was wrong with many ways. and nagai finally become less selfish. this game looks awesome so far, wonder if this will be the last game or they will play against that team at the end. |
| Touto Boys team are more relaxed and goofy than I expected especially with the old coach taking a nap. Nagai has redeemed himself here by putting the team above himself by lending his glasses to Hikaru. |
