| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, Taikoubou took the fight hard against Bunchuu in this season's finale. It became a bit of an emotional struggle for the both of them For the finale, I guess it did reach my expectations but only mildly. The series overall felt underwhelming and rushed. Idk how faithful this turned out in the end as I don't read the manga. I just felt the show could of done more for a finale and storytelling as a whole. Dakki's role in this season made me curious often and I think she turned out to be one of the more interesting characters compared to the other cast imo. |

| Remember the Signpost of History they been talking in previous episodes? They were warming us up for the final battle of the story. And then they... just cut away the final arc, showing us only aftermath of the battle. However the anime material in second half is very faithful to the source (except for few scenes in last episode), of what they had shown us. But that only leaves viewer confused as there are lots of scenes that make no sense or relevance to the story presented in anime, because they have been cut in small scraps. A lot of those scenes could have been removed and anime wouldn't have lost anything. Moreover, that way they could have had more screen time to show the events that happened on ground level, the battle of Zhou and Yin. As adaptation the anime is very poor. It tried to sit on the three seats at the same time and failed at every aspect. And as a manga fan, I am unfortunately unable to perceive the anime as stand-alone project. The way they executed the story saddens me too much. P.S. Raishinshi was as useful in this anime as in the manga. Har har har. |
| lol,i thought Raishinshi was taking his sweet time to show up in this anime, since he was listed as a character, .....in the end he get about 3 seconds of screentime _XD -this anime started out as utter garbage, but once the pace slowed down a bit, i felt like it got much-much better. |
