| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Piruluk is back :D It's kinda neat to see her fighting. The episode didn't take long for a battle to break out either and it seems that Piruluk really wants to prove herself. I'm also really curious to see how Kiyori will overcome the new challenges in her life. Not too shabby. I'm hoping this season makes some big changes but so far remains faithful to what I had expected. Possibly new threats too with that cliffhanger! |

| my biggest question after this episode is, we see Tama in the Opening fighting, but at the scene at Ruukos home, we see Tama as a normal Girl, so why is Tama later again a LRIG :S |
| After the last week's bamboozle, we had a proper attempt at a starting episode I guess. I really like how they incorporated the Peeping Analyze manga with the new season. This is how you do an adaptation lol.. even though it was rushed as hell. I hope Kiyoi will get a proper revenge on that bitch this time at least. Anyway, I disliked how the manga ended because of that asspull, and Mayu kinda went out of character there.. If she sees the outside world with jealousy, sending Piruluk back there wouldn't seem like a punishment? A second episode with nothing new for me as I've already watched the OVA and read the manga before, but it is definitely needed for setting up Kiyoi's past/goals and her role as the main protagonist. That's still 2 episodes with mostly flashbacks for a start though.. we didn't get Mari Okada as the lead writer for this season, but at least we got her manga here LOL Eh, it could have been better. And yeah... seems like Mayu is 1000% out of the picture forever now. Not sure how to feel about the room itself becoming a tool for the antagonist LOL, way too convenient. And was Carnival really that strong anyway... Layla seems like an edge filler character and there's no choice this time. Very forced plot. Honestly, I already don't like how this is turning out at all... :( I'm disappointed. ..............at least we got Tama if nothing else ^.^ |

Aki is getting Milulun. The only person that can get Remember is Remember herself, else it wouldn't make any sense. Layla is joining Carnival, not fighting... but how the fuck did she even find her in the first place? XD I agree with the other points, this is gonna suck even harder than Incited.. |

And the 'room' asked someone to gather key to open the door of despair, who else fit the job more than LRIG who just bat sht crazy and want the world to burn just for the sake of making it interesting. while I do think that's pretty convenient, but I say pulling totally new cast as the main antagonist out of nowhere not gonna do any better, beside the 1st ep already said that LRIG starts to get weird or something, another reason why Carnival fits the job. it's not fighting, it's teaming up ;). And I think they explain it pretty detailed there, this Kiyoi doesn't remember anything about her bf death and such, making her feels apathetic toward her bf. So even if Amika tell her about her bf death story, Kiyoi just gonna feels like Amika telling her about 'Amika's friend neighbor cousin cat that die in an accident' (did i phrase that right?), which is pretty disturbing for me |

Lol. Ruu and Tama living the lovey dovey life. It's great how fast Ruu rejected the call to arms. It's good that Kiyoi got the spotlight this episode but like others say it feels crazy rushed. They must have a crap load to squeeze in by the looks of it. The overall pacing of the series has changed with Incited's writer. Okada hasn't been involved since Spread I think and the director has changed again. Still, I'm cautiously optimistic.. Also, Grandma's pretty chill about Tama being around |

A few of them involved some slightly deeper strategies, but it seems the anime really doesn't intend to portray them properly, only throwing hints around. Going by the anime, power level goes by whatever the character's role is, but at least we saw Ruuko lose which is already a step ahead of some other shounen/card anime. XD Although, indeed in the first battle between Suzuko and Chinatsu in Incited, it went very bullshit relying on out of the game environment, and some things just work different in the anime compared to the TCG. The game is very skill based, luck factor is almost non-existent but I guess they can't really express the drama if they go into too much detail. I'm on the fence, as I appreciate the way they keep the game advertisement in the background and don't rely solely on that to make the anime work, but indeed it could have been better if we had more thought out battles. Thinking about it, it doesn't make any sense for Remember to join the Selector battles again anyways, knowing her objective. So no matter what they do, it will be stupid. Alright, so this time no one gets the choice if she wants to be a selector.. the only reason why Remember would join is because Carnival is a bitch and somehow knows(learned from the room?) about Kiyoi's past so she just wants to fuck them over for the lulz.. But again we aren't sure if only our main characters are selectors in a tournament kind of a way or it's all against whatever random people which were chosen by God knows what reasons. I think the preview also hinted that Amika will become a selector too and there will be 2 Piruluk LRIGs. But there's also the opening that shows the old LRIGs from Incited as well, many of which are humans or gone... now how the fuck would they appear either? XD Aki is miles classier than the trash bag Remember, wanna see her punch Carnival or that Layla bitch tbh. Btw I see the anime intentionally blures and fades flashy scenes because of Japan's laws against seizure. Really, why would you even do that if it's gonna look so bad? ..or maybe it's just from the source I'm watching. |

| One thing that I really wanted to see was Ruko and Tama smiling at each other and I got exactly that. Pure bliss! ^_^ Either way, I don't blame Ruko for rejecting Kiyoi's request for helping her, but with Carnival and Layla making their moves, everyone, whether they like it or not, will be thrown into the cauldron of selector battles once more. It does make me worry about who'll be successful and who won't. Kiyoi's past segment was probably the best part of the episode and so far, I'm enjoying her screentime a lot. So let the despair battles begin! |
| Yeah, this seems like it will be another mindfuck ride lol, I love it! So while Carnival hosts she can also fight. I wonder what's the new mechanics they added with the keylock. The coins are also back but this can potentially bring back LRIG Tama since she would be a memory and Ruu wouldn't have to involve the one that turned human. It will be nice to see Yuzuki back too. |

| This episode was definitely a huge step up from the last and it felt more like a pilot episode to the season to be honest. They did well to setup Kiyoi/Piruluk's backstory. It did feel a little bit rushed and I ended up reading the wiki to clarify myself on what happened but yeah pretty decent job. Glad to see Ruko again, Tama too. :D Wonder if she'll play a bigger role in this story and I hope she does but let's see. I'm a little confused on who the LRIG Piruluk that Kiyoi receives at the end. Is that Piruluk supposed to represent Kiyoi during her initial time as Piruluk since the whole Selector battle seems to be related to memories now? Anyway, looking forward to next week. |

This is it, the game is set up. 1 protagonist seeking to face her sins 1 protagonist trying to protect what she has left And Ruuko, who has had enought of Children Card Games that send you to the shadow realm. And they even get the whole squad of allies from previous seasons. ....for some reason, this season reminds me of that YGO movie where Yusei, Judai and Yugi team up to defeat Paradox. |

| What a great episode, I liked it much more then the first one that’s for sure. Don’t get me wrong the first episode was good but a little plain. We got to see another battle, more interesting ways of using the rules to escape the pain and torment the games usually cause. Good to see the season 1 characters again, I was worried it would just be like 1 or 2 of them but it seems like a fair chunk are going to be a part of it. I really liked the way the series is going, also the new game is finally set up so we can finally get into some battles, the best thing about WIXOSS has always been the large cast and watching the different combinations of interactions and battles that happen as the cast mix and mingle with each other over the course of the series and slowly seeing a majority of them get tormented throughout. So next episode, we’re gonna get into the real shit, and I’m super excited. |

But the appearance of Ruu and Tama is refreshing to me since they are the main ones from the very first WIXOSS series! of course they would add a new rule in the upcoming battles! 4/5. |

| Peeping Analyze manga adaptation Redux. Very necessary, as Kiyoi is the MC now. Even if a little rushed (why this has to be just 12 episodes, with such a big cast and plot points, this time this will be rushed as f...). Also liked to see Amika animated and her voice (wanted her at least as a brief cameo since Incited). As mentioned by others, this is Wixoss Avengers, or Crisis in the Infinite Card Games. It needed Okada AND more than 12 episodes to have it's full potential realized, but so far, is being at least way better than Incited (who had okay ideas, but ended a little contrived and VERY inferior to Incited and Spread). Is also good to have a proactive protag who knows all the things from the start, instead of a reactive one, who suffers because of the plot, in ignorance and confusion, and only puts an act against the villains in the last epis (Suzuko, and mostly of time Ruko). We also see human Tama and Ruko interacting beyond their reunion on Selector Destructed only scenes...good, but please, don't forget about Yuki/Kuro/Iona, dear show... |

| Kiyoi :sob: I feel more connected with her after learning more about her. Also she is much of a person and not just robot that he appeared to be in previous seasons and i like it. She is definitely becoming my favorite character as of now. Screw you Remember ;-; how could you :( and Mayu smuged about it even. She saved her by releasing her from suffering (it seems normal since clinging to own's life is what Mayu's been experiencing while she was alive, and ending that, since its her suffering is the best sort of salvation) So she thought it is the same for everyone. Cant blame her much i guess,given how painful her past was. Coincidence. I also like Kiyoi's sulky face <3 The rewrite of the wish was pretty neat. Wow Mayu from loving Kiyoi to hating her real quick. Goes to show, you make one mistake and every previous accomplishment are ruined. I really cant believe how Mayu thinks that living as a human is much worse than disappearing from existence. WOW. Selectors are set! |

| Big backstory for Kiyoi. She's been through so much and suffered so much. I'm glad she changed Amika's wish to save her mom. This episode was a little confusing, and I'm not quite sure what order the timelines fit together, but I'm definitely hooked! |
