| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Daisuke is awesome. I never get tired of watching him when he brings his skills to action especially with that gun on the road. First half of this episode is filled with road throttle action that I found to be pretty intense.  Lupin is still such a goofball lol. He's made quite a name of himself on social media. |

| Episode 2 this week and the Lupin game is in full swing. That first part involving the Zenigata chase really gave off the feel of watching a live sporting event or something with all the cuts to the internet stream reactions. Ah the wonders of modern technology. It's pretty clear the show is pushing that angle hard. I was a bit surprised Zenigata would let something like Lupin fleeing to an unaffiliated country stop him from pursuit, but then I guess this series is meant to be taken more seriously with stuff like that. I liked Lupin betting on the public's lack of an attention span, but he wasn't counting on assassins to spice the game up! Still not much of Fujiko in the early going, and I'm still fairly indifferent on Ami, but perhaps that'll change as she gets more involved. It even looked like she might have been hit or grazed in the preview. Lupin still displaying that chivalry. It made me think about how the whole no honor among thieves thing really doesn't apply to him...most of the time anyway. XD |
| Really fun episode! Again, I loved how the technology is not too over the top and every time Lupin do something that includes more modern devices it has a completely understandable reason. It doesn't feel like the anime is trying to hard to get adequated to modernity; it just feels smooth, not forced. The action in this episode was really nice; the chase scene was well-done + everyone fighting in the end AHHHHHH Totally random, but this episode also made me thank all the gods in this world again (and producers/directors haha) to make Lupin so different from the original Monkey Punch one. He was so cute with Ami, but I'm sure that the manga Lupin wouldn't be like that argh. The only thing I'm still missing is Fujiko. When will she have a more important role in the story?? Can't wait for the next episode to see our boys fighting and please, MORE FUJICAKES |
| Seems like the 'Lupin Game' is going to be a decently sized theme this season, at least here early on. It's nice how they've implemented new tech/trends into Lupin as we've gone through the years. |

| I'm loving this lupin game and how lupin is just enjoying the fact that he's now a celebrity. I laughed when they said jigen is lupin's "lover". I loved that little bit with goemon not understanding how a camera works. |
| From Hunted to actually being hunted, this is probably the most entertained I've been with a single episode of anime in a while. Social media star Lupin {username: Monkey Python} leaning hard into his unwanted internet popularity and inundating people with information was both a hilarious and a pretty ingenious way to make people stop caring about the game. Shame it backfired into getting the Marco Polo people to indirectly issue a hit on Lupin's life via batman villain assassins. I wasn't prepared to see batman villain assassins, but I love it. I also liked the airport chase scene and Lupin saving Ami from those thugs was pretty badarse too. Looking forward to seeing more from Fujiko and how she's going to end up playing into all of this too. |

| Modern tech is now involved and out for Lupin's group... All-star assassins are out for getting each and everyone of Lupin's loyal members! This is gonna me rough! 5/5. |

Whoahoho said: Whoever is the seiyu doing Jigen's voice ought be retiring. You're new to Lupin aren't you? That's Kiyoshi Kobayashi (85) who's been voicing the character since the first series and is the last of the original voice cast. The production team is historically very loyal to their voice actors, with Kiyoshi voicing Jigen in all but one appearance. At this point Kiyoshi isn't going to be replaced unless he either steps down from the role or passes away. Personally I think he sounds pretty good for an 85 year old 😏. |

| I don't ship LupinxJigen romantically so you can deny the lovers part, but dang Jigen, I agree with Lupin. Call the guy your friend at least! After all the stuff y'all have been through over the years? MAN. lol Anyway, I freaking love hoe Lupin is toying around with modern technology. He just adapts to it. It's inspiring. |

| Haha Jigen is Lupin's lover? Nah it's Zenigata xD I thought Lupin said few episodes ago in part 4 that he should stay in shadow He'd lost his job if his identity came to light.. Guess not afterall Fujiko as usual planning to backstab Lupin, probably.. most likely No Zenigata action in this episode It's not like the usual Zenigata who tresspasses anything even beyond ICPO :P Seems like Lupin is graduating from episodic kind of anime |

| Now this is how you start an arc :) Lupin The Game! I love how the assassin's from all over the world coming down to hunt them. Gonna be amazing to see tons of crazy and weird assassins with their quirks. Already seeing the guying using a fishing pole is wow! Also I want to see more Fujiko!     Can't wait! |

| This is good stuff, I missed Lupin III. Even the OP is good. Like the love interest/girl/random girl Lupin must save because of the good in his heart, lolz. I guess every Lupin anime needs at least one active female character besides Fujiko, and an antagonist. I'm really liking the writing for this, very smart. High tech and Lupin, they go together very well. All the online stuff is mega interesting. |
| If you can't win against them, you just need to join them I guess. Lupin was really smart to openly post on social media. He and Jigen are right, people aren't that interested in others, and they are bound to lose interest if he doesn't try to hide himself. Not even Zenigata could go after him in that country either, and he was uncharacteristically calm about it. I like his assistant here though, he is cute, and it would be nice if he had some spotlight. But those guys behind Marco Polo or whatever are still, understandably, mad that Lupin stole from them, and now they sent some assassins after him and his team. Things are getting fired up! |
