| honestly when i found out this series got a sequel i was shocked when the manga came out cause i wasnt expecting major to get anything else but things turned out to be really good just like the original and even got a anime really quick major has always been 1 of my fave sport series and am glad to see the sequel getting alot of attention so i am hyped for this series return to anime am hoping its just like the original and we get to see them all grow just like goro and the rest did meaning getting alot of seasons of anime also heres hoping! |

| So happy to see a major sequel. A really good first episode with an interesting start. Goro's son being crushed by his dad's accomplishments and not being able to live up to them. Now I found Goro being an unstoppable OP monster in major incredibly entertaining and fun to watch. I really enjoyed the "overdog" story instead of underdog (like Kuroko no Basket). Seems like it is reversed for Daigo and he is mediocre at baseball. It's gonna be interesting to see how he grows. Looks like from the OP he will be a catcher. TBH not the biggest fan of this and I hope later (maybe later seasons) he switches to a pitcher. Still excited to see what happens. That OP 1 playing in the airport when Goro leaves right in the feels. |

| My honest first impression after watching this episode: Very predictable, cringe & boring...can already picture where this is all going and it's not very interesting. I'd rather watch his sister side of things/story instead. Oh well, guess i skip this one after a couple more eps. 5/10 |

| The start wasnt really the best. Ofcourse people are going to make fun of him if he doesnt live up to his dad and OFCOURSE he's going to quit because he feels like he cant live up to it anyway. Also did we really need Toshiya's son to be the next Toshiya, being the inspiration to become better? This makes me want to rewatch Major so bad ... it was so good D: Still though, I'm interested in seeing if they can bring us something fresh and new with Major 2nd ^^ |

| I'm actually interested if they go on a catcher route. I was expecting him to be a pitcher but having the roles reversed for Sato's son and Shigeno's son is an interesting choice. This episode definitely took me to nostalgia lane and I am probably gonna be binging this. I am in dire need of a baseball anime due to the lack of Diamond no Ace. |

| it's may not goro, but it's still major alright, and i enjoyed it :) i don't know what faster though, the story or diago, he just quitted too quickly for he didn't met his teammate expectations, and the time skip was too dam fast xD back to diago case, i hope he will realize that he have other skills and use them, goro was gifted with pitching skills and still worked pretty hard for this, since kindergarten, and diago expect to be good pitcher on the start? from the op it seems he's going to be catcher, like satou, damn opening spoilers >_< shimizu is kinda strange as an adult xD but she's still making the job as shimizu ;) and diago sisters didn't get exposure much but i think it's sure to assume we will see her more. and i liked all the references in their house! the op was great and for once the ed too! |
| After having followed the insanely baseball talented Goro comes now his son Daigo who's just mediocre, interesting so far. I gotta say I found it weird how Tashiro is the coach instead of Komori and also the design of the adults seems a bit too childish like Kaoru looks like a kid. |
