[Story Challenge] Horror.

The true challenge when writing horror, is to incite fear or a feeling of being unnerved without using the many techniques available to film and audio (jump-scares, creepy music). Your words alone need to somehow incite genuine fear into the reader.

• Any English horror story with a word count between 1000-7.500 words (short stories).
  
• The scarier the better.
