| Ehhh, he's annoying af, but that'd be a little too much I think. For starters, she hasn't exactly letting him know what's what. A restraining order is a last resort -- she hasn't actually been firm and told him anything along the lines of "I don't like you that way, please stop bothering me and following me". I'm not justifying his behaviour (or blaming her for what he does) but assertiveness goes a long way. First you deal with things yourself, and be firm about it. Then you go to your parent, teacher, and/or boss. And then you finally go to the police. Anyway, he seems like a decent guy (albeit clueless), but girls have every right to be wary of this behaviour. There's been a lot of cases where it has ended badly because it wasn't taken seriously enough. Some guys just don't get it. I think in this case Tachibana knows enough of him to not feel threatened or something. They do go to the same school after all. Persistence and Stalking aren't the same, though the line between them often gets crossed. |

Following someone home and to their job is pretty much stalking. what you're doing (projection) is sick. you say stalking is creepy because you're a creepy person yourself. and finally being creepy is NOT grounds for a restraining order. try again after he starts harassing her. inb4 SJWS comes in and say everything is harassment, rape and patriarchy. |
