If this was 5 years ago I'd agree but streaming sales are big now and can fund entire seasons on that alone.
Plus smartphone is hobby japan's top selling novel and if the figures sell decent, season 2 has a good chance to happen.

I Hope season 2 was made, still there's hope, you see some animes get a a sequel in 7 or more years, a good example is hataraku maou sama, its been 4 years all we can so is wait and watch what 2021 has in store for us 😁😁😁
On a side note this is my fav anime, even though I like bloodshed and brutality, but still this childish kinda anime is just superb..

I don't dislike the anime in fact i do enjoy it but harsh truth i hate anime industry on advertising anime thatll never get a sequel.
Even anime that like only need 2 cour (25 or less episode) or 1 cour with OVAs.

So move along don't hope too much watch an original anime or complete adaptation it'll be better than getting half assed adaptation.

Yepp, but you can always read its webnovel for free online, This got me addicted to reading it, but since my eyes hurt I used an app to read me the novel 😅😅😁

Most likely it gonna be a 10% - 25% maybe even lower due to the fact that this anime has a lot of flaws which made the show look bad however it is the studio's biggest and successful anime they've made so far. If a season two did come it would most like come at late 2021 - early 2023. Really hoping for a season two after all I enjoyed this anime very much.

I am fascinated by these threads. After one page of discussing the possibility of a second seasons for a show, it quickly deteriorates into a damn request thread. As if begging on an English forum about anime is gonna convince any bigshot producer in Japan to invest money into creating a follow-up for a generic isekai anime. And most of them are made by one day/one post accounts. Great.

I know this will fall on deaf ears, but:

No one is going to make a second season of a show just because "69pizzalover420blazeit" really enjoyed this show.

I am really sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your opinion doesn´t matter to our anime overlords.

Didn´t want to believe it, but it seems to be true. A sad day indeed. Well, I´ll give it a try still. My expectations are so low anyways that it might actually surprise me. The time will come when I can finally see if all those comments about this getting any better in the later stages actually hold up or not.
