why did the manga finish before the anime

So I am not caught up with Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry that much but ik that the manga ended in december but the novel came out before the manga did but it's not yet completed so thus that mean there will be exclusive content to the novel that will progress the story or just some unimportant stuff because as I said I don't know the reason why the manga finished before the novel even though the novel came out before it!?

Well no one ever said that manga adapt the whole story from novels.

but are they somewhat similar because I don't care about unimportant parts I just want the full story that the writer wanted to tell thought the novel and also since the manga finished before the novel will the novel have the same ending but with more content added into the novel or will it have a differential ending separate to the novel

Isn't it the opposite. The manga is more advanced than the anime? Did the manga really finish I thought the members of the seven star swords art festival was already selected and stuff is still happening. As far as I know the last manga update was last month.

Manga end on 45 chapters. Maybe they edit that soon. Hope so.
