| "Pervy maggot patterns" lmao, Nomu cracked me up this chapter. Ngl, those designs that Tsukimi cooked up look kind of ugly. Seems like they're jumping from one niche to another with these transforming clothes. Maybe they'll look better once they're on an actual human. It's also...weird? that Tsukimi thinks that just because those people from the Singapore market wore "ethnic"/religious clothing, that they don't care about fads. Fashion fads exist in those areas as well, it's not like they only wear one color/cut/style of clothing for the rest of their lives. It's just...such a weirdly ignorant statement. I also don't think that the reason they didn't sell anything at the exhibition is because they didn't put on a show, like Jiji said. It's because...they don't advertise their brand anywhere (online, print, TV, radio), and people don't know about it. Apparently, that exhibition was visited mostly by people with money, who'd be OK with waiting for months for custom-made clothing. And yet the Amars say they want to sell to "common people". Just...zero consistency, planning and business sense 🤦♀️ |
| And this chapter made me notice that they are wearing the desings on the cover of the final volume, cute, but it feel like everything is going fast just to get to the finish lime. |
