Makoharu or Rinharu for season 3?

MakoHaru hopefully. This is about Haru’s uni years so he hasn’t gone pro yet. In the movie trailer it is shown that Haru and Makoto move to Tokyo together (not in the same apartment lol). So hopefully they show more moments together which is likely. But this is a fan service anime so of course there’s going to be a few rin haru moments as well. I’ve been reading the comments on the post and made me confused because some people say that Haru doesn’t show emotion when he’s with Makoto. Like...?! Are we even talking about the same anime? Don’t forget about the fight they had. Don’t forget about the time Haru watc- wait no stared quite fondly at Makoto when he swam. Don’t forget him hiding under his bed sheets, avoiding the world and heading straight to Australia immediately just so that he could avoid Makoto. Oh, and don’t get me started with the Speed Novels. Also I’m sorry if I offended anyone. I just wanted to make sure that people was clarified on the fact that Haru does show emotion around Makoto. I’m not here to disrespect people’s believe. I like Rin too he is a cutie.

Thus, RinHaru all the way.

I'm okay with either, for once, because Rin is my favourite character (and my HUSBANDO, AARGGH) so I'm not too fond of the thought of *sharing him* with Haru once again... They really had a nice chemistry in S1, though, which was unfortunately dropped when Sousuke came into the picture. (I dislike Sousuke btw; being a little attractive doesn't allow you to destroy a ship that's pretty much sailing already... In my mind, Sousuke never existed. xD

Makoto and Haru's bromance is also pretty adorable - well, it's mostly just Makoto acting like the ultimate boyfriend and Haru being spoiled ... and me wanting to be spoiled... On the other side of the screen... *AHEM* WELL... eehhhh....

I'm just incredibly glad Sousuke isn't included in S3 - THEN I WON'T HAVE TO FEEL ANGRY AND JEALOUS ALL THE TIME, OH YAS!

Ultimately, I can't decide which ship to vote for; I like both MakoHaru and RinHaru, however, I prefer the latter but that would also result in me becoming super jealous as usual because I'm not the object of Rin's affection... I'm kind of ambivalent in this case because I also find RinHaru super adorable. :))

I'm sure we'll get a balance of both. That's what they always do except for Starting Days. Though that "I want to be like you, too, Rin" line is already A+ for me.

Doesn't mean I don't ship Makoharu but RINHARU forever and ever. <3 I take delight in every interaction :)

I have no NOTPs in Free! I love each and everybody and basically everybody is OTP lol it's just that at the top is Rinharu.

I just want Rin to be okay and happy and everything good in the world <333 I wish people would stop hating on Rin/Rinharu every time there's a Rinharu scene or storyline or whatev :p

I still don't like Rin even after his redemption and all these years since I saw season 1 so I love MakoHaru. They're practically husbands already and Rin stuck his foot into so many other people's lives (contrast to Haru getting pushed to be people's rivals lol) that his friendship circle is too divided up to really focus on Haru now. Currently, Souske x Rin seems more plausible which works out because I don't like either of them~

I doubt KyoAni will actually commit to any of the guys getting together but that's 100% fine with me because MakoHaru friendship is still so wholesome and I love any scenes with the two of them interacting. I didn't pay nearly 200 dollars for their figure for nothing.

Makoto and Haru already seem married, so they're my preference. Honestly they just already feel like they've been dating the past few seasons.

As for 'canon', KyoAni is too much of a wuss to straight up admit anything

I ship SouRin most, so that matches well with MakoHaru as beta-pairing. That being said, it's not as if I don't ship HaruRin, so I can easily be convinced to turn this into an OT3 or even OT4. Plus, I also ship SouGou, so maybe OT5?

Very well said, Rin even gave Haru a dream when he dont know what to do in the future anymore. Its like makoto is the cimfort zone but Rin is where the beautiful thing outside haru's comfort zone.

makoharu for me.

as a girl, i prefer boyfriend who always stay by my side no matter what. who know anything about me without i saying anything. known when i want to be alone and when need companion. i don't care he can cook or not, but as long as he know me better is enough.

no offense, but rinharu are too abusive in my eyes. though now i like his personality (S3 only) but still he is not my fav main chara.

rin gave haru dream? don't forgot that the one who encourage rin to brings haru to australia was makoto. and never forget that rin made haru quit swimming and hurted ikuya indirectly. even tough i know that's all for the dramatic plot!

if the new movie just focuses entirely on rinharu, i think i will cancel my plans to watch it later.
