| Ugh. This was annoying. I looked on the website and the kanji was different for the writer, so I thought the writing for this would be better. Nope. Wish denied. This was just a whole lot of nothing disguised as an episode. Thankfully we got cameos of other band mates we haven't seen yet, but still. The writing is just flat and I don't know anything about these boys so I can care about them. Reon's "slump" was just something that felt thrown in to add conflict, and it wasn't even a good one. Plus, you have got to be kidding me at the twist. LIAR-S has disappeared? We're using that plot device again? Have the writers already run out of ideas? Disappointment across the board for me. I wanted this show to be better, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. 3/10 and leaving this before it gets worse. The new ending also looked unfinished, so even that couldn't get me excited. This summer retreat was a bust. |
