The first movie of the trilogy shows what beautiful animation is like damn this is only the first one. I like this Shirou slightly more compared to his UBW counterpart for it seems that he's more leaned to his selfish reasons rather than selfless reasons in UBW because of his care for Sakura.

Overall 8/10 for this bad boy.

I was disappointed by the fact we were not getting a series but OH BOY the nailed it I watched all three and if you just started you are in for a ride.
Now I've seen some negative reviews as well but it's understandable I've read the VN so maybe it was extra fun for me but still give it a try
1)animation & visual - 10/10 Hey it's ufotable again and they DELIVERED full this time as usual the city, the characters all were beautiful I mean the fights made their appearance in like 8/10 "top 10 anime fights" list

2)Story 9/10: Now I already mentioned some bits now heaven's feel is the sakura route which is aka more gritty and dark which was my favorite I mean god knows if Hollow/ataraxia will ever be animated but of well.......
so it's basically a new story you do not need to have some prior knowledge about other series which is a win new people can join and they DID so hopefully we will get more.

Main Character isn't annoying
The 'real' Assassin kills Samurai dude and takes place as a servant
Sakura isn't forgotten about and gets screentime
Shirou and Kiritsugu interact more that just the chruch scene
Fight Scenes are done so so so well
----------------------------------------
One thing I kinda disliked about it though is how some things feel rushed or make no sence
Like how Rin and Emiya decide to fight Bug Dude. Don't know how that happened, like did they get some letter or a call?

Or when chain servant who seemed like she died earlier on, came back to life and saved Emiya from assassin.

9.5/10. This is the part of the Fate Series that I wish I started to watch from.

可怜的Sakura，前中期有点看不懂，后面还好，剧情属实精彩，应该按顺序来看的，游戏一条线都还没通
