| I mean the soundtrack in this movie at least in my opinion is incredible and is on par with susumu hirasawas original music from the 97 series easily. Shiro Sagisu did a phenomenal job on this films soundtrack. Tracks like Orchestre 'Soulagement, beethoven's appassionata, and "Darkness comes to us all" set the horrors and add to the drama of the eclipse. Also the flute trio played when casca are making love in the forest really set the mood for the scene and the closing credits for this movie is one of the best I've ever heard in any movie animated/live action. As a classical music listener these tracks evoke very strong emotions and have an aura of beauty and power to them. |
| All I remember from what I've beared to watch and hear in the 3rd movie is the music during The Eclipse that just sounded to unfitting and ordinary. Susumu Hirasawas "Murder" on the other hand, not that is some masterful piece of music that suits The Eclipse perfectly. I thought the soundtrack of the first movie was good. Definitely the best part of the movie, altough not nearly as good or memorable as the '97 OST. |
