| First thing I want to point out is if its due to Yuri then should not of watched it. Now for the main part, yeah it might have a bland story and characters were just uninspiring and no development but what you get is a fan service of yuri scenes which is what I expected. Would like to see a bit of drama and longer duration but still I dont see why it is sitting at the 5 something when it could be a 6/7 maybe. |

I feel the way they done it dumb was because to make the characters look cute in a way or tsundere. Though I do agree why the heck do they need to play dumb for the whole series. If the duration of anime was extended then I believe better plot would have been implemented. |

There was 1 part when the bi-shounen found out and I thought he was going to bang both of the main girls but was shot down cause that be entering hentai territory. | The problem is the series just went too fast, everything felt rushed and the progression felt forced. NTR and Yuri aspects are fine, but it feels more like they forcefully shoved them both in a show rather than a romance that just happen to be NTR and Yuri. |

| gotta point out that every episode (except the rushed ending) was just a repeat, same misunderstandings, same love moments, same violent moments, same everything this was almost as bad as Haruhi Suzumiya with that 8 episode repeat (and i love Haruhi Suzumiya) =D |

| You're gonna get full of answers saying that it's bad. As a person who scored this 9, the anime was GREAT and should at least deserve a 7.3 or higher to represent it! People pissed by the characters don't understand the characters. People pissed by the story shouldn't be complaining. The anime strongest point imo is the art and character development. YUMA AND HOTARU ARE CUTE! The relationship this anime successfully brought out is how "both far and close" a person to person relationship, in this case Yuma and Hotaru. That was really the focus of the anime and source of Yuri, using a cheating theme and slight NTR that spins off the dating between Yuma and Takeda or Hotaru and Fujiwara. The premise is interesting. Two "bad" pair, (Hotaru and Fujiwara) friends with Two "good" pair (Yuma and Takeda) while Hotaru fools around with Yuma. Can all 4 understand each other? There is no pure romance or love. No pure yuri, it's just an extra thing you get in the dark romance. Really similar to Kuzu no Honkai. If you think Fujiwara was hateable for hitting girls, ok but don't hate the anime. Men like that are plenty in the world who just wants a fuck. For why Hotaru tolerates it, is because she'll use her body in any way to get Yuma's attention. If it means getting hurt, that too. That relates to why she teases and manipulates Yuma. Hotaru likes and wants to selfishly possess Yuma, while Yuma has her heart out for Hotaru. Their relationship strains because Hotaru is not being her true self, acting in ways to seem all perfectly fine when there's a problem (like her being hit), or later on being all distant, out of how much she wants Yuma to look at her. While Yuma struggles to find where her feelings lie with Hotaru, Hotaru is Yuma's friend and Yuma tries to figure how they can warm back up with each other again, kissing back is a way of intimacy and Yuma finds herself actually loving Hotaru. This "far and close relationship" the characters have is what this anime really try to show. |

| I think a show having several "unlikeable" main chars makes people dislike the plot/story. As a result, the show is low rated. I rly like stories when human defects, miseries, doubts and contradictions are crudely exposed for both men and women. I rated with a solid 8/10 this show, and if it wasn't for the mild and sweeten ending, I'ld have rated it 9/10. This show deserved a proper bad ending. BTW I rated 8/10 School Days too. |

| The main reason is because it was FAR too goddamn short, which boggles my mind too. The other reason is because people are so used to Disney-esque fluff that more realistic romance anime like this one makes their baby penis soft. That's pretty much the reason. |
