| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I loved this chapter. Just like chapter 7 (Scales), it provided new context for some previous key events. Each of the three are learning about things from different angles, and now Nadeshiko and Tsukasa on roughly the same level of awareness. As we continued the flashback from the previous chapter and were shown how Nadeshiko has come to know that Kotooka knows that she knows (which is kind of a funny thing to say), the buildup to Nadeshiko finally letting it out in her room was perfect. The page where she was screaming was a bit too over-the-top, but I can let it slide. Nadeshiko's decision to keep pretending and also try to show more of her cooler side to Kotooka culminated in the moment where she told off Muu-tan over the phone. With this, and the ponytail, it looks like Kotooka doesn't know Nadeshiko as well as she thought. |
