I think the 2nd game had the best storyline but the 3rd had some great graphics and really scary moments :) So it has to be the 2nd or the 3rd.. cant choose. |

Probably the second. It had a wonderful storyline. The first is the one that scared me the most though. |

Crimson Butterfly is my favourite. I like characters (besides Mr. Kurosawa...) and storyline so much! |

Well i think first three are best, they are connected, though first makes me feel kinda emotionaly drained, after playing, i dont like it, second and third dont do it so much, but the third is scaries, its all in ouw dreams, i was scaried to sleep for 3 days, lolz, and about last one, mask of lunar eclipse, as i heard there will be no american version, so we ether wait for europian or call it a failure, so the third :D |

FF2 was the first one that I played and have yet to play the fourth one, but of the first three games, it goes like this: Best story: all the games have good storylines, but I found FF2 to be the most intricate and creepy. Best gameplay: FF3 Best scares and creepy moments: FF2 (the light going out at the Kurosawa house, being locked up in a room painted with blood, the Kiryuu dolls, the falling woman, the one crawling out of the box, the mourner at the Osaka house, being chased by Sae, Ichitose... to name a few) FF1 was creepy, but it didn't have many moments in which I almost jumped out of my chair, screeching, and I found FF3 the least scary of them all. Creepiest final boss: Sae, especially due to her sister complex. But if someone nagged me to choose, I'll pick FF1 since it has the best overall package. |

I have finished FF4 some weeks ago, here's my updated list: Best story: FF3 (after looking up some discussions, I have a new found appreciation for this one)> FF2 >FF1 >FF4 (the thing with the luna sedata syndrome was convoluted in a bad way) Scariest moments: FF2 >FF1 >FF3 >FF4 (The only things that could rival those in the other games were *without spoiling* the wheel chair, the yellow room and the floor basement just before the shrine) Creepiest final boss: Reika >Sae >Kirie >Sakuya (the final battle with her was pathetically easy, I was able to defeat her with one chain of attacks) Best gameplay: FF3 > FF4 (despite being the easiest, the battle system and Wii control schemes were fun) > FF1 > FF2 (granted, very creepy, but there was too much backtracking, some ghosts were cheap and the camera obscura wasn't as fun as in the other games) I love them all, but if I would to rank them, they will go like this: FF3 > FF1 >FF4 >FF2 |

Well I have played all the games, and I must say I liked the 3rd the most. I agree with Raven-Shinobi. The 3rd had the best story and the best gameplay. The graphics are also the best. The second one was way too easy. Still I love all the FF games! And I could play them over and over again! *^* |

I've only played the first and second game, but definitely the second game was better in my opinion! Bigger locations, scarier ghosts, a deeper storyline... |
