DVD in North America?

I keep hearing whispers and rumors about some company licensing The Girl Who Leapt Through Time for DVD distribution in North America. Is this true at all or are all my hopes about to be crushed? Cause I know that it was released in theatres in 2006, and many people think that that means that they've released it on DVD too, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Well yes this anime I been licensed by Bandai so you can expect a release of this movie soon
